The Christian PEN: Proofreaders and Editors Network Humor for a Teacher's Heart
Humor for a Teacher’s Heart

Teaching can get pretty intense at times. Sometimes a good dose of humor goes a long way toward relieving the stress. I know. I’ve had the wonderful privilege of teaching all grades, from K-5 through seniors in high school. As a “retired” teacher, I was reminded throughout this book of many similar incidents in my classroom. The stories range in length from just a few words to several pages and were written from all points of view—teachers, students, and parents. I especially enjoyed the contribution of Christian PEN member Amber Ferguson. She wondered how hard it could be to teach a roomful of young children . . . until one day she got the chance to find out. Humor for a Teacher’s Heart would make a wonderful gift for any teacher.
